As the economic, social, and political policies that have shaped this success are explored, Dr Daniel probes Ntoudi with the all-important question of what South Africa can do to claw its way back from its current economic stagnation.
Speakers’ Bios:
Dr Daniel Matjila. Throughout his 15 years as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), serving clients such as the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF), Dr Matjila and his team grew the assets under management from R308.7 billion in 2005 to over R2.083 trillion in 2018, making the PUIC the largest asset manager in Africa.
Ntoudi Mouyelo. Over the last 20 years, Ntoudi has enjoyed a distinguished international banking and finance career as a senior executive in various global financial centres throughout Europe and Asia. He joined Rwanda Finance Limited in 2019 as Chief Investment Officer and is a specialist in risk management and structuring investment entities for financial institutions
